Chapter 1486 - Endurance Through Stone and Sweat

So he persisted until late at night. As long as he had strength, he kept piling stones without resting.

He used to think his life was very tough. Now he felt his life was too easy, lacking true trials. He must endure more severe challenges, and what he needed to do now was to improve himself more, to exercise more.

He believed that what he was doing now was valuable—the more labor he did, the more peace he felt inside.

Building this house could indeed help these primitives, though not enough.

Until he felt truly sleepy and exhausted, unable to hold on, ready to fall asleep at any moment, then he went and ate two skewers of roasted meat, drank a bowl of water, took a bath using hot water heated by the fire, and returned to his room.

First he lit the fire jar and then tied the net at the door.

Then he lay down on a cowhide to sleep. This cowhide was incomplete; if he turned over on it, he would end up outside the cowhide.

The smoke was a bit choking. Even so, he slept very well.
