Chapter 1457 - Chapter 1584: Repairing the Wall

He mixed quite a bit of thin mud with a jar and used it to fill up the uneven spots on the walls around the house. Then he roasted them with fire. Roasted until they almost crystallized, hard as stone. With this, it would be more difficult for tigers and leopards to climb onto the roof because there are no points of leverage.

He spent a whole day on this task, repeatedly feeling unsatisfied and incessantly smearing mud and then roasting it.

Trying to crystallize the soft mud posed quite a challenge. He only managed to roast it to a very hard state, to the degree that tigers and leopards can't scratch it.

He was still not sure whether the current state was enough to prevent wild beasts from climbing onto his roof. He just wanted to give it a try, to use his hands more. The soft mud was dug from the creekside and could be used for heavy clay pots and jars.
