Shortly after it got dark, a coyote entered his yard. But it couldn't do anything with that piece of meat.
After fussing around for most of the day, it left again.

Ma Lin kept watching. He was fully capable of stealthily shooting it with an arrow, but in the end, seeing its clumsy demeanor, he didn't take action.
He thought it would spend the whole night and still not get that piece of meat.
He was curious about what it would do.
It fussed under the meat for about ten minutes before leaving.
