They are under no obligation to listen to wishes or help fulfill them.
But this is how they acquire contribution points.
The 'War God' can listen in at their convenience, then choose a follower and their wish to help fulfill.
They do not need to be present at the scene to listen.
Each medium or large Sandhound Temple offers an activity area for the 'War God,' where they can exchange their contribution points for skill points, equipment, supplies, or other items.
Within the activity area, there is a small room where the 'War God' can hear the prayers in progress by the Sandhound faithful.
There are two dials in the room with pointers and scales; turning them switches between different petitioners as if tuning a radio.
They can fixate on one that interests them, securing the dial to select the wish and help the follower make it come true. Then, a bamboo slip in the hands of the follower will display that a 'War God' has agreed to fulfill the wish.
