Chapter 2195 - 16. Nonexistent Area (X)

Indifference to peril is a very grave accusation.

In reality, instances of ignoring peril happen frequently, but ordinary people can easily hide behind the "impunity of the indifferent masses" as their get-out-of-jail-free card. When faced with the insurmountable wall of "the law does not punish the masses," people can only vent their anger and curse at the faceless "indifferent ones."

But revolutionaries cannot use this tactic.

As "warriors standing up for the people" and "aspirants striving to change an unjust world," in a certain sense, they should be the exemplars, the models leading the masses by example. These individuals cannot hold themselves to the same standards as ordinary people and shrug off their responsibilities.

Arietta is fully aware of this, and she has always taken pride in it.

She is a revolutionary fighter; her task is to correct the absurdity of this world. She is a proud, upright warrior, not a despicable person.
