The wooden floor area has a shrine at the front.
Generally, dojos perform a shrine ritual before beginning practice.
What's enshrined at the Kurogane Dojo isn't the usual Bu-Son shrine, but the ancestral shrine, dedicated to the dojo's founder, Kurogane Sabe.
On the indoor walls, there are nameplates of instructors, assistant instructors, and disciples. Calligraphy writings such as "The Brave Fearless" and "Unyielding Perseverance" also serve as encouragement.
"Yo-i!"
When Kamiyagawa entered, several disciples dressed in kendogi at the Kurogane Dojo were training earnestly with bamboo swords, shouting as they focused on practicing their swings barefoot.
The Kurogane family may have mastered the extraordinary Wild Greatsword Mizugami-ryu skills.
However, the dojo's lessons are still aimed at ordinary people, mainly teaching sword arts for physical fitness and personal cultivation.
