Yu Liang looked at the bathtub full of water before him, silent.
The surface of the water is the secret to traveling through different timelines, but he was unable to actively influence or control it; he could only travel passively.
And yet, he dared not travel passively.
Cold-calling birds had said that whenever he entered any timeline, he would replace the "Yu Liang" of that original timeline and occupy their abilities.
And their abilities were often used to suppress the Barrel Man Origin within that corresponding timeline; such temporary replacements could likely create loopholes within the prison cell, allowing Barrel Man Yu Liang to successfully break out of prison.
If an escape truly took place, Yu Liang would have to create a new temporal prison cell to detain Barrel Man Origin. He currently had a notion of "Dream Yu Liang", but he wasn't fully prepared and naturally needed to proceed with caution.
