Since the conclusion of the architect's mystery, Cedric went back and forth to his temporary base and the office.
His main goal was to still complete his synchronization with the Primitive Universe and become a genuine Immortal Level evolver. Whenever he felt like it, he would return to the office and continue learning using the books the architect left behind.
These books not only offered him a treasure trove of knowledge, but they also upgraded his skills indirectly by introducing him to varying ways to approach a problem. Everything that he's picking up here will be useful once he begins his adventures in the Primitive Universe, even though it makes his brain ache with how complicated they are.
The direct benefit of all this studying was his richer understanding of the maze and the astrolabe. It's not complete yet, but he had the foundations, at least.
