"Oh, but they didn't tell me," Xaviar spoke in a muted tone.
"Because they didn't know how to tell you," Jaylene Ziel comforted Xaviar, who had already come to terms with the truth. "Also, they were worried you might not like Anna Ainsworth, or even hate her because of her leaving back then."
"How could that be? I'm not an unreasonable person," Xaviar said huffily. "They're just underestimating me."
"Exactly, I think they underestimated you too," Jaylene quickly nodded in agreement with Xaviar. "Only I believe Xaviar you're not petty nor could you be unreasonable, so I came to tell you the truth."
"But why didn't you tell me earlier?" Xaviar still sounded subdued. Didn't this misunderstanding make him cry for no reason and feel sad for so long?
Jaylene didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and hurriedly explained, "I didn't know that this was worrying and saddening you before. If I had known, wouldn't I have told you sooner?"
