Charlotte Green gently tugged at Drake Green's sleeve and whispered, "You've been married for years now, why haven't you had a child?"
"I have regrets too." Seeing Ethan, the inherent paternal love in him overflowed.
"Is it her who doesn't want one or you?" Given how Hannah Sullivan was with Ethan, it shouldn't be her.
"Ahem... Certain factors," Drake Green said uncomfortably, clearing his throat.
Charlotte didn't press further, but simply said, "Big brother, I told Hanna, if there's still love, please don't give up on it easily. Life isn't too long, nor is it too short, and maybe we only really connect with someone just once. Everything else is just making do. Since that's the case, why reject what you truly want for an uncertain future?"
Drake Green took in her words, looking at the woman fully focused on Ethan, not responding to Charlotte.
