Immediately after killing the twins, the Naga King understood the error of his ways. He had thought everything through, but he was then hit by the realization that he could have potentially opened the floodgates.
The king was not foolish enough to wait for the Forever Devils to reach him. He immediately visited the Dragon Domain. He requested help from the dragons, but when they heard what he had done, they were shaken by his ignorance and foolishness. They could not believe that the Naga were this stupid.
The king had killed the twins, but he did not even know who they were among the Forever Devils. Once a generous dragon kindly explained to him who Ikraid and Bromlin were, the king felt as though he had just lost everything overnight.
The dragons kicked him out of their domain. They were not willing to make such a powerful enemy over something this foolish. There was no benefit in getting on the wrong side of the Forever Devils, who now had two ninth-step beings.
