The four people were all puzzled, not understanding why Allen Rivera suddenly called them over, or the purpose of his questions.
However, seeing Jane McCain's unpleasant expression, they could guess it was perhaps related to her, and sensibly refrained from asking further.
Once they all left and the door was shut again, Jane couldn't help but ask Allen, "Could it be someone else? Room 305, 307, and 310 on this floor of the dorm all have people living in them...but why?...Did I offend anyone?"
"Don't be afraid, nothing will happen." Allen comforted her.
But his tone was light, as if he were pondering something, somewhat absent-minded.
"The buses seem to require real name registration now, and your documents are damaged, so you can't take the bus..." He mused for a moment, then said, "I need to lead a team into the mountains this afternoon, so I'll arrange for someone to take you home first. Call me when you get home, and you need to quickly replace your ID card and bank card."
