Allen Rivera shook his head: "Don't know her, I'm guessing. If her family hadn't protected her so well, I can't understand why she's in her twenties and still acts like a teenage girl."
Jane McCain burst out laughing, thinking Allen Rivera's words were quite sharp.
"Feeling better?" Allen Rivera smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist, "I usually don't like talking bad about people behind their backs."
"Oh yeah, because you prefer to do it to their faces." Jane McCain joked, "Since you're her boss, it's your responsibility to educate her."
Allen Rivera neither agreed nor disagreed and said plainly, "Juliet Stewart really lost it today, if she keeps this up, she'll have to see if any other prosecutor wants to mentor her."
Both publicly and privately, Allen Rivera believed Juliet Stewart's behavior had many issues.
Liking someone isn't wrong, but her mistake was bringing personal emotions into her work and taking her anger out on Jane McCain.
It was not worth it.
