Allen Rivera let go of her, took out a towel from his luggage bag, and spread it on the bed to temporarily solve the problem of poor bedsheet quality.

Jane McCain climbed back into bed for a quick nap.
"Today will be very busy, I might not be able to take you back to Clearwater," Allen Rivera said. "Is your work busy over there? If not, stay here, and once I'm done here, we'll go back together."
Jane lay sideways and shook her head: "No need to take me, I can take the bus back myself. You're here for work; it wouldn't look good if people saw your girlfriend clinging to you every day."
Allen considered it for a moment, then agreed by nodding, "I'll see you to the bus station after my meeting."
