Hearing Barbara's words, Eve Thompson didn't appear helpless like others would; instead, a wave of nostalgia swept over her, and she said, "Barbara, actually, you do have a brother."
Barbara blinked in surprise, "Where is he? I want my brother to play with me."
Eve Thompson pursed her lips and, after a long pause, took out the Carlos Charlie mini robot that she personally wiped down almost every week.
The twenty-centimeter Carlos Charlie stood there at the moment, seemingly soulless, woodenly stationary.
Upon seeing this, Barbara was astonished: "Is this my brother? What's his name?"
"Carlos Charlie."
Barbara had grown up hearing this name, and she blurted out immediately, "Ah, so it's Brother Carlos!"
She walked over, about to embrace Carlos Charlie.
But Eve Thompson quickly picked her up and said, "Brother Carlos is resting right now, he can't play with you at the moment. When you turn ten, he can wake up."
Barbara's head drooped in disappointment, "Okay then."
