Three people are watching the New Year's Eve Gala.
There's singing and dancing to lighten the mood; watching it feels somewhat sleepy, all three of them quiet and still.
Suddenly, Maxwell Hughes spoke up, "Are you sure?"
Violet Taylor and Chloe Hughes were both slightly taken aback.
After a moment, Violet Taylor realized that the question was directed at Chloe Hughes.
Chloe Hughes' eyes hardened with determination, her radiant face filled with longing and hope for the future, she nodded, "Yes!"
Maxwell Hughes continued, "Are you ready to face the future then?"
Chloe Hughes took the question seriously and responded, "Brother, truth be told, having always lived in this environment, I don't know how to survive without money. But, I believe, life isn't always smooth sailing, and I want to experience a different kind of life. Additionally, my senior treats me well. So even if the road ahead is thorny, I'm still willing to give it a shot."
