Jane Sampson sighed, "Anyway, I have something to do so I won't be home for dinner, I'll be back after eating. If you don't believe me, you can call me to check after nine o'clock tomorrow night! If I'm not at home by then, you can send your guard team to pack up and take me away!"
"Who are you eating with?" It wasn't that James Black needed to know every detail of Jane Sampson's whereabouts, but the less she said, the more he felt that there was something out of the ordinary.
