Norris handed Xiangxiang over to the servant, whispering, "Take her upstairs."
The wind was strong at night, and she feared Xiangxiang might catch a cold.
The servant nodded, carrying Xiangxiang upstairs to her bedroom.
Norris entered the dining room to have dinner with Trenton Smith.
Perhaps expecting her arrival, the dinner prepared today consisted of her favorite dishes.
Norris bowed her head to take a bite of her meal, then glanced at Trenton Smith.
"What?" The man ate his meal casually, feeling Norris's gaze on him, he asked indifferently.
Norris, with her head lowered, said, "I heard from your brother that you plan on developing your career in Tung City?"
"Hmm." The man's tone did not change, "What about it?"
"This place isn't right for you," Norris spoke with a bit of conflict in her voice, lightly biting her lip, "Actually, I quite like London. You don't need to stay in a place you're unfamiliar with just for my sake."
