"I'm sorry, could I ask you for a favor?" It was at this moment that Emily Simpson's voice finally came through the cellphone.
"Go ahead," Lorne Noah Jackson raised an eyebrow, then said.
"I know it's really bad to trouble you like this, but... could you buy me a couple of things?" Emily Simpson stammered.
"If you think it's not good to ask, then don't." After hearing her words, Lorne Noah Jackson already had a... rather foreboding feeling.
"But... but it's really urgent, please could you buy them for me while you're at it, I'm begging you..." Emily Simpson pleaded.
Lorne Noah Jackson knew that the outcome would be like this, even if he refused, she would shamelessly beg him anyway.
"Please..." Her beseeching voice continued.
"Speak," Lorne Noah Jackson moved his lips, then went on.
"I just found out we're out of tissue at home, can you get me some, any kind will do..." Emily Simpson meekly began.
