Emma River's face was deathly pale, without a hint of color, as she stared blankly at the video on Keira Leaf's mobile phone, her eye sockets slightly reddened.
"Tsk tsk, hiring an assassin to kill someone, wonder how long that crime would get you sentenced for," Keira Leaf spoke again nonchalantly.
Emma River's throat tightened, her hands clenched tightly at her sides, eyes almost bursting with rage: "Are you setting me up?"
"I don't understand what you're talking about..."
Keira Leaf gave a nonchalant smile, but the meaning behind her expression was self-evident.
Emma River, you've been calculating all your life, have you ever thought that cleverness might backfire, that you might one day be outsmarted by another?
Keira Leaf did not continue to argue with her, but instead switched the mobile phone to another video.
The video was none other than the one previously obtained of her pushing her grandmother down the stairs.
