Shane Winchester finally snapped out of his daze and looked up at Keira Leaf, remaining silent.
A touch of melancholy flashed in Keira's eyes: "So what if it resembles him? After all, it is but a mere likeness, a pity it will never be Alice Smith..."
With a sudden movement, Shane rose from the sofa and left without uttering a word.
"Joshua Sulliven, let's go see dad tomorrow evening. He called me today, said he missed me and wanted to see Tristan and Howard as well," Keira said, lifting her head to look at the man by her side.
"Okay."
The next afternoon, it was just past two o'clock.
Keira and Joshua Sulliven took their two children by car back to the Leaf Family's mansion. Since they hadn't been back for a while, they brought quite a lot of groceries and gifts.
Nowadays, Michael Leaf and Emma River had divorced, and with so much time having passed, Michael had been living alone in the grand villa. Keira had stopped dwelling on the past issues.
