I smiled as Osamu slept soundly in my arms while I sway back and forth in a rocking chair. He was surprisingly calmer than I expected during the crisis this morning. It felt like another sign of him having autism. But he was still too young to get properly diagnosed. For now, I should focus on understanding and supporting him as best as I could. I wanted him to have the tools to grow without feeling too overwhelmed. Although, as a prince, that might've would be a mixed bag. On one hand, we had the money for tutors and such, but on the other hand were all the social events and expectations. The same ones that drove his auntie Rose to throw herself off a bridge over a year ago.
Thankfully, that was now a distant nightmare. Rose had found some happiness from that bleak moment.
