I watched from the edge of the battlefield, my eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before me. The lake's surface churned with the force of the ongoing battle, waves crashing against the shores as Saffron and Prince Orlin fought valiantly against the male kitsune. The air was charged with energy, a palpable tension that crackled like lightning around us.
My eyes went back to the sky. I sighed. The evil presence watching the battlefield had left. Kohei, his scions, and their friends managed to thankfully stop the demons before anybody could get hurt. Unfortunately, I was hoping a certain demon would join the fighting. This seemed like something The Archdemon of Wrath would have his fingers on.
Although, maybe it was for the best. If that man were to step into the battlefield, there were going to be casualties. He wielded power akin to The Seven Archangels. Granted, it was a tad weakened in this realm.
