The next day after the banquet, there was a different kind of undercurrent in the academy.
Amden had returned back the same night and though he did not have a proper sleep, he arrived to attend the early morning class. On his arrival to the classroom, he was greeted by a strange kind of commotion.
As soon as he entered the classroom, the hushed and whispering conversation happening among the students ceased. The students stared at him with different kinds of expressions.
"What happened?" He questioned one in particular with raised eyebrows.
No one responded for a few seconds, when one student replied, "You don't know?"
"What is it that I don't know?" Amden said with a shake of his head.
At this moment, Alicia stepped forward, "Amden, three students of our academy went missing yesterday as if they disappeared into thin air."
Amden frowned and waited for her to tell more.
"Those three were- Delerio Batrick, Ravien Carter, and Natale Clove," Alicia explained.
