Huo Man's complexion was a mixture of green and red.
She hastily shook her head and said, "No, no, I just wanted to check the time on it."
Wen Suihan glanced at the large clock on the wall behind her and said no more.
Huo Man swiftly picked up his phone and put it back on the coffee table.
Then, she adjusted the expression on her face, smiled at Wen Suihan, and asked, "Are you alright?"
Wen Suihan didn't look at her again, nor did he answer her question. Instead, he directly asked, "Why are you here?"
The smile on Huo Man's face suddenly stiffened.
She said somewhat awkwardly, "You were drunk, and Zhang Cheng went out to buy a hangover cure. It was he who asked me to take care of you."
"I'm fine."
After the brief conversation, Wen Suihan returned to sit down in front of the sofa.
His head was bowed, his face still showing signs of post-drunken discomfort.
I don't know why.
It was still the same Wen Suihan, but Huo Man suddenly felt as if he had changed.
