Brynn Williams couldn't sleep much that night, only dozing off at dawn.
She woke up hungry at noon and went downstairs to have lunch.
Unexpectedly, Kobi Taylor was still there, and it was too late for her to avoid him.
Kobi Taylor was sitting on the sofa, watching CNN. Seeing her come down, he glanced at his wristwatch, frowning slightly, "Your daily routine is very irregular. Leaving that aside for now, let's eat."
Brynn recovered from her shock and looked deeply at Kobi Taylor before replying in a muffled voice, "Why didn't you go to work?"
It wasn't the weekend, and his presence at home was unusual.
"I was worried about you being upstairs all day. By the way, I've called Reese Bernard to come over and accompany you for shopping and relaxation. From now on, treat this place like your own home and consider me as your family, don't be a stranger." Kobi Taylor gently advised.
Brynn lowered her head, not quite used to others being kind to her, feeling unable to reciprocate.
