Chapter 391 - Chapter 391: King of All

Brisk winds.

Crisp sounds of leaves being crushed underneath his feet.

Squirrels chirping and chattering as they gathered their nuts for the incoming winter.

As the other King walked across the somewhat departing land, the man looked around his surroundings, trying to spot one of Sozo's personal villages, hoping to vie it out of his miasma-infused grip. While searching, he would notice someone: A man carrying a wagon around, rugs and cloth stored within. He approached the man, somewhat recognizing him based on his rags, a scarf that covers his mouth and neck from the cold, an orange sweater with small holes to warm him. "Well Howdy 'ere-" The man began, looking up and pausing himself as he saw who it was, petrified by his appearance.

"Vial. Good to see you. I almost didn't recognize you by your youthful appearance. Magic?" The king replied, yet no sound came out of Vial. His presence was more than enough to terrify him, merely nodding to his question. "I'm looking for one of Sozo's Kingdoms. Have you made your wares in one of them?" His question was once again left in silence, merely pointing to the direction for the King. "Thank you. Tell Ennio I said hi for me when you return to Salvandi." He'd compliment, as he'd left the area.

Vial nearly fell over in a faint, his breath heavy as he looked up at the autumn sun. "Holy-... I's actually... In all mah years of livin', this'n not somethin' I'd be witnessin' ALIVE!" He'd yell to himself, amazed at such chances.

Meanwhile, the King would finally reach the location he needed: A Kingdom with its history etched across the entire plaza. The Bayeux Tapestry itself was weaved within the golden bricks in the ground, as well as the brickwork of the buildings themselves. The people would take notice of the King as soon as they turned their heads, panic ensuing, as they called upon their best warriors and casters. King remained unfazed as he walked into the village, eyeing each and every one of the people involved. Once he reached the Plaza, he would be attacked on all fronts. "DON'T GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO BREATHE!" One shouted.

"HE'S HERE! THE KING IS HERE! EVERYONE BACK AWAY!!" Another cried.

"ALL FORCES MOVE! MOVE!!! THIS IS A MAJOR THREAT IN CAPSOL! I REPEAT, A MAJOR THREAT IN CAPSOL!!" A third ordered.

King looked around to see each and every one of their abilities, watching one weaponize a Dinosaur's skull to attack on his midsection, whilst the other waited behind in order to utilize pins and needles in an acupuncture attack, trying to stop his nerves and make him fall over. He could see in his left a woman with a Kraken on its side, its tendrils both moving her up and tying around his neck, ready to act as a personal noose. On his right, he saw another woman with a rocket, ready to fire it straight at his stomach if the others were able to hold him down. He can even see in the far back a child, even though he is not as strong as the adults, desperately trying to pump energy into the Tapestry itself, creating soldiers in its weaves and bursting out, ready to charge and attack him with all they could muster. Such people hold so much promise, yet he never looked at them. Not yet, at the very least. He allowed these attacks to connect, awaiting to see its aftermath.

SHIKK!! SHIKK!! SHIKK!!! GRIIIIP!! SHIKK!! SHIKK!! KA-BOOOOOM!!!

A massive amount of smoke left behind, the people watching in horror, hoping, nay, praying that it bested him. As the smoke cleared however, their fears were realized. Not even a smudge of debris was on his body. No wounds, no blood, no pain. They were scared. They don't know what to do. Some brought to tears, accepting their fate. Others swallowing such nausea and staring at what they think would be the face of death itself. Then, as if everything was slowed, the pressure kicked in and forcing them to kneel, as he began to speak. "What is the difference of a Horse and a Lion?" He'd begin, as he'd calmly walked across the tattered tapestry, approaching the child that casted such spells, as his mother begged for mercy on the boy, unable to do anything. She closed her eyes and cried her heart out as she feared for her son's demise.

What she got instead, however, was for the boy to be the exception of those kneeling, as King helped him get up, carrying him onto his shoulders. "The Lion waits. He beckons. He watches on as he acquires his food. The Horse runs. He pushes. He reaches into lands unimaginable with its stamina and speed. The Lion is one's power and pride in themselves. The Horse is the Drive, the Force behind it." As he spoke, he'd brought the child back to his mother, striking at a wall and providing its small pieces towards the boy, the small insignia's of the Tapestry still lingered. He made his way back to the entrance, angling himself just enough to the sun, his shadow encroaching everyone, his figure just as menacing, as he looked onwards, letting those that once feel fear, shift to awe.

"What is the difference, now, to those two animals... and Humans?"

Tears began to well once more to the people, as he continued his speech. "The animals have a simple motive. A Reason to live: Survival. They do not care about material goods. They do not care about grand ambitions. They simply wish to eat, to drink, and to rest. Both of them, while strong on their own, will eventually stagnate. Humanity, however, is its exception. It can grow. It can reach the Drive of the Horse, the Power of a Lion, and all it takes for that growth...is Motivation. Our own reason to live." His speech would strike a chord into each and every living thing, as they began to cry and watch on in such beauty before them. Nobody could ever dream of reaching the same height, the same strength, even. Yet, here he was, telling them that not only is it feasible.

It can be reached by even the smallest of kin.

The mother that protected her child would try to stand after hearing his words, the pressure nearly crushing her body. Yet, despite such pain, despite such pleas her son gave, his apologies voiced several times, desperately trying to have her forgive him, she still tried. Everyone grew in shock as they saw her beginning to stand, the second of the many. "My Lord..." She'd begin, balling up her hand into a fist, a surge of energy spiking in her. King merely looked to his side, his back against her, watching, waiting. "...If what you say... Is true... Then for my child..." Her energy spikes even further, a literal beacon for others to follow, as one by one, they began to stand. Their drive was found, all at the expense of making the King of All into a target. "...WE WILL KILL YOU!!!" Such voice boomed alongside a cacophony of cheers and screams, all of them now following his order, understanding his own Drive.

King would finally lift his crown and reveal his eyes, staring at them all, its golden color shining as brilliantly as the Sun. "Then get stronger. Be Stronger. Find my Castle..."

"...And Show me your Motivation there."

He walked away from Capsol, his achievements made, all without needing to deal a single attack. Thus his title, King of All.
