Chapter 387 - Chapter 387: Deduction

"Yokai...?"

Cupid would nod at Harvard's question, as he'd use his eyes to filter out the area, allowing him to see how many paper dolls were littered around. As expected, he would notice the trees lined with them, from its leaves to its barks, ready to be summoned as soon as Franken would do another rampage. "The most common one she uses are Shikigami. Dolls that harbor spirits within them. The moment those dolls break, the Yokai can be summoned and controlled freely. I assume you know what this interaction does to the Princess, correct?" Harvard's eyes widened as he'd look back towards his deck, taking out the monster he took from Tsukiya when she went feral.

"Tamamo counts as one??"

"Indeed. Had she not possess her, Ji-mon's victory would've been guaranteed." As the man spoke, the Necromancer was quick to attack back, having full control over Franken and forcing it to try and smack down Tsukiya while she was on the ground. She was quick to look back and plant another Paper Doll, leaping away as she lets the beast break the earth. However, Ji-mon knew better. He averted the strike and balled up Franken's fist so that it can take a massive swing instead. A Direct uppercut that would send her flying. The beast then followed by reaching up to her and grabbing her body with its massive hands, crushing her, before slamming its balled hands straight into the ground, a massive cloud of dust and debris, as well as a crack in the land made from its impact.

Despite such a slam, the giant would feel something against its dead flesh, a giggle heard in its grip. Eyes were visible in between its fingers, as another yokai would try to breach out, its skin bumpy and red, its jaw hanging out, its strength on par. Ji-mon would try to let it run on autopilot again as he'd rush in and deliver a heavy stomp on whatever was the figure Tsukiya unleashed, his steel boots aimed squarely in the eyes to push it back. When he tried such a strike, however, another beast would catch his feet. A disembodied hand, bloated with blood, as it cushioned the blow and dragged his leg down, allowing the first to lunge a heavy swing across its mouth.

An Oni and an Akateko.

"She planted the Dolls ON Franken's hand!? How!?" Ji-mon questioned, as Tsukiya would showcase her dislocated arms after such a crush, letting the Oni grab her by those arms and repositions them back into her sockets, letting her move them once more. Based on such injuries she sustained, he'd assume that she had to risk her arms in order to plant the two dolls, letting her dislocation tear the dolls as she was being squeezed alive. He'd get himself up and control the Giant once more, but as he does, the Oni makes quick work in escorting all three of them out of its grasp, slinging the Akateko around and tossing it straight for the Necromancer. As he'd dodge out of the way, Tsukiya followed up, aiming for a strike to his neck, making Ji-mon raise his arm to block the strike. He'd retaliate with a knee, yet she'd catch it in response, as well as trailing his leg so she can grab him by the ankle and twist it over, spinning the man around and planting him face first into the earth. Ji-mon retaliates again with a quick kick to her stomach, followed by pushing himself back up in order to swing his leg around for a roundhouse kick to her temple. She'd stumble upon the first, yet simply weaved her hand to catch him by his foot, pulling him close so she could palm his face, then follow it up with a palm to his stomach, then an elbow, a jab, and finally, a sweep across his legs, having him fall once more.

"Hehe! You yieldin' yet?" Tsukiya would taunt, as she'd guide the Akateko over to his body.

"Fat chance! A mere couple of slaps and knees isn't enough to bring me do-" Ji-mon paused as he'd noticed what she planted on his body during her attacks. Shikigami wrapped around his face, hands, stomach, and legs, all of them ready to release at a moments notice. Even as he'd try to be careful with his movements, the Akateko following up would immediately claw at two of them, aiming for the one on his face, then at his arm. He couldn't believed he was tricked in just a few hits, all while defending himself, even. The second the dolls broke, the Yokai inside would break out once more.

Obariyons.

A mere step was all it took for the Yokai to activate their ability, instantly doubling the man's weight and forcing him to fall over, his hat flying off of his head as a result, alongside more dolls being ripped apart from the abrupt drop, and to an extent, more Obariyon's that spawned and latched onto his body. Tsukiya would nudge the man to force him to take another step, planting another paper Doll in the process, as the step would cause the weight to quadruple instead, then quintuple, then sextuple. His body struggled to even get up as the Imps hop around freely, giggling to each other with their fiendish eyes and their short, round bodies, their stomachs indicating how many pounds each of them weighed, the sum nearly enough to crush Ji-mon's bones and organs. "How's about now?" Tsukiya asked, being just near his face with the cheekiest grin she could muster.

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!! I YIELD! I YIELD!! YOU WIN!! GET THESE THINGS OFF OF ME!!!" The Necromancer caved, desperately trying to slap his hand at the ground to signify him tapping out. As he gave the words, the Fox Woman simply snapped her fingers to turn the Obariyon's back into Shikigami, the paper dolls quickly swooping back to surround her kimono once more, showing where such papers originated. "Jeez... What kind of sick lady are you!?" The man complained, as he'd try to get up after such a brutal crush.

"You're the one with the dead bodies, Waow, Waow!" Tsukiya retorted, her smug grin still present. She'd be quick in helping the man up and letting Franken shrink back down to its dormant size, seeing it take the form of a statue the size of the children, its arms crossed and its face stoic. "Oooh. That another artifact you got there?" She'd ask.

"Wha- Well ah... I mean, kinda? It's more like a storage for the dead than anything. Like those Canopic Jars people use."

"Aren't those for Organs though?"

"Ahh Potato, potatoh. Not much a difference between them. It's still preserving the dead." Tsukiya rolled her eyes at Ji-mon's aloofness, as Harvard would cast a potion spell so he can provide it to the man, as well as Zazel setting up a Sigil to help him dull the pain during the healing procedure with Kimaris.

A quick and sound victory, as expected from the Princess of the King.
