Meanwhile…
Archangel Alvariel stood respectfully before Ethan, his voice calm and measured. "My lord, gathering 300 of our kin will take some time. I'll need a little while to get everything in order."
"No need to go through all that trouble," Ethan said, shaking his head. "Let's split up. Once you've assembled the troops, head straight to the coastal region near the Crimsonstar Kingdom. Look for a Kirin hero named Kyros, or a War Unicorn named Elyra."
"Tell them I sent you."
"I'll meet up with you all there later."
Sure, Ethan had just borrowed Alvariel—and 300 units of Tier-14 Mythic Archangels, no less—but there was no way he was bringing them to Emerald Castle. That would be asking for trouble.
Splitting up was the smarter move.
And Crimsonstar Kingdom made for a perfect rendezvous point.
"Crimsonstar Kingdom, near the coast?" Alvariel paused for a moment, then nodded solemnly. "As you command, my lord. In that case, I'll take my leave."
