"It's not deep enough!!" Ben thought he realized as soon as he hit the attack. Although it was quite difficult to judge whether he hit any vitals in that spherical thing or not I had a feeling that this attack wouldn't be fatal.
'Krkkrkrkrkrrk!' The monster made a low-frequency sound, trying to lift its body, its tentacles elongated and attacked Ben like a whip.
Ben quickly reacted, he jumped back leaving his weapon stuck but Ben couldn't make it in time. The whip-like tentacle hit on his thigh and wrapped around him, knocking him unbalanced.
The spherical monster flew upwards, along with Ben meters up. Ben's weapon was still stuck in the monster's skin and the monster's tentacle was wrapped around Ben's thigh.
Ben struggled, trying to free himself but another tentacle attacked him, grabbing his left arm. Freya who was below, watching, had her arrow pointed at the monster, but the constant struggle between Ben and the beast made it hard for her to focus.
