Christine's POV
His voice alone was enough for me to recognize the person sitting on my swivel chair and at that, I let my guard down, though I wondered how he got here in a blink of an eye.
This is so unexpected. Even in my weirdest dream, I have never thought that he would show up in my office, though he told me he would do that.
"Buddy, you're here, honestly I didn't believe you when you said you would surprise me with your visit." I said while grinning and walking towards him.
He stood up and we hugged then shook our hand. "I have missed you so much, you have to make time for me, let's go out to the casinos and clubs. You know how I badly love it, "He said as he sat down on the arm rest of my sofa.
"I will man, I don't even have time to do those things any longer as great responsibility is hanging on my neck, I can't even remember the last time I smoked." I chuckled lightly while taking my seat, though I didn't miss the puzzled stare he gave me.
