Jesse woke up from what he thought was just over exhaustion and went into the bathroom to splash some water on his face groggy with a slight headache that started to subside.
I remember everything that happened before I blacked out. I don't feel any different though. I looked in the mirror at my reflection and thought to myself about what I read before passing out.
My eyes changed from brown to a lighter grayish color.
1st Scan complete.
Silent casting has been unlocked.

I had to splash water on my face again. There seemed to be a little screen hovering with text over most items if I focused long enough on them. This could be super useful for me to have the most information on campus. I didn't even know spells could be used this way. Or that I had a level either.
Let's see what the bracelet has to say about this spell. The more I focused I was getting the hang of bringing up a screen for my stats and what certain things could do. These screens were only able to be seen by whom they belonged too.
(Scan: Tier D Spell).
This spell activates more parts of your brain than before and allows you to see detailed information on things normally hidden to the naked eye. Spell is unpredictable with information currently.
Tier D? What kind of ancient spell is at tier D. Feels like I wasted points.
Not a super offensive spell but it'll have to do for now. It says it has a tier I'm assuming if it's like the Grades they give for Magic Points then maybe it can grow like it said. Can't wait to see what I can do in the future. Maybe it's time to sneak out and see what's so dangerous about the school at night.
Jesse snuck down to the first floor and quietly creeped past Henry's office. He decided to keep using his new spell since he never used magic before in his previous school life.
Jesse turned his head and peaked into Henry's office on his way out.
[Henry]
[leader of boys dormitory]
[stage of sleep - Rem sleep]
That worked out better than I thought. I wonder what else I can scan.
Jesse looked over at the bowl of fruit in the entryway to the dorm.
[Banana]
[yup this things full of potassium]
[Apple]
[why are you still looking at fruit]
What kind of help is that supposed to be for me? I guess when it said unpredictable spell that was true.
Jesse silently walked toward the door and started to walk off into the night. Feeling as if he was being watched he went off into the forest around the academy.
"I wonder where he's going at this time of night" Alex said staring at Jesse from the second-floor window.
Jesse quietly walked towards the school under the moonlit sky he circled around the building to get towards the library making sure not to alert any of the teachers.
A back door with a pass code huh. "Activate Scan spell" Jesse whispered.
[A door with a lock on it. Alarms will sound if opened after hours without permission. Also, you don't need to whisper your spells just think to use]
Good to know. What about the password for this door?
[A lock that won't open. Password ????]
This spell is very useful. I really need to get in the library and see if there's anything else useful, I can learn
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Three lightning bolts smashed into the wall leaving scorch marks I slowly turned around "professor spark!?"
Professor spark looked at me and smiled before waving her hand through the air leaving sparks of electricity "that would be me but right now you can just call me Amy try not to get hurt ok." She smiled pointing at him with her right hand.
Why would she say to not get hurt? Maybe I should scan her.
[Amy Spark]
[Enemy]
[Hostile]
[Magic: lightning, ?????, ????? …..]
[Personality: crazy, caring, ?????]
Enemy?
ZAP ZAP.
Jesse began falling as his legs went numb, he felt like he was being assaulted by a thousand needles all at once.
Amy smiled at Jesse and raised her arm one more time ready to electrocute him once again.
"Wait stop! Aren't you supposed to be a teacher here to help the students!" Jesse pleaded as he saw his health stats out the corner of his eye.
[HP: 1/5]
Not knowing what might happen if it hit zero for him Jesse could feel his breathing becoming heavier.
Amy continued to raise her arm in the air shooting off multiple lightning bolts. As they went into the air hundreds of feet until they exploded creating all sorts of colorful patterns.
"Beautiful isn't it. Sit and watch how amazing I am for a second kid. Be happy I found you as your home room teacher I do want to take care of my students. I'm not sure why you're out here but I'll give you a fighting chance ok. Not against me that wouldn't be fair but everyone else. Let's hope this isn't your first and last day breaking curfew." She smiled and started walking away.
"Maybe one day you'll stand alongside some of us as equals when you're stronger. Next time don't get caught I did warn you of the rules in class."
The sound of footsteps could be heard rushing from all over toward him.
