Telmus sat by a pool made from flowing silver metal, wishing he had a drink.
Above him, a massive demonic face raged, spewing words of hate and madness, but Telmus ignored it. Every now and then, when the voice grew too loud, he picked up a strand of light, made it a sword, and slashed the face apart.
The blood of the demon that was poured down from the sky like an ocean was bitter, but Telmus had been slowly working on it, hoping he would be able to make wine, and this pool was the result of his effort.
He dipped a finger into the pool and tasted it: "No, it's still too acrid. What am I missing?"

In the Great Abyss, a massive combat stage was being built. Its construction had been ongoing for eight decades and was to be completed on the ninth.
This stage was built inside the Abyssal depths, and although it was called a stage, it was an entire Abyss level.
