However, before she could act, a figure opened the door from the adjoining room and stepped out. Hearing the noise, Dorothy glanced over, and the two locked eyes.
It was Yae Miko.
Ah, what's this? Aunt Miko isn't asleep either?

The blond witch had barely stepped out the door when she was confronted by a "monster" with three heads and six arms, which startled her unexpectedly and almost made her throw a talisman out. Thankfully, she saw through the "monster's" disguise before acting—it was her genius niece.
