In the following days, the environment in Klein Mountain was anything but quiet, mostly due to the training progress of the adorable Whale-man Species, which was much faster than Xiayat and Fisher had anticipated.
Xiayat had said something to Moli during training that day, but when Fisher later asked her about it, she always avoided eye contact, frantically suggesting she hadn't said anything outrageous, and that it was all to help Moli master the combat training better.
That's what she claimed, but whenever Fisher looked at her suspiciously, she would always find an excuse to run off to do something else, avoiding a direct answer.
Either she would be off to handle the evening meal or to wash her own clothes and hunting tools. If it weren't for Moli's condition seeming normal, Fisher would really suspect she was up to no good.
