With everything set in order, Yang Kai made his declaration to the world. An announcement of the future festivities. While this was set in order, my wives were in full swing getting themselves ready. My mothers and sisters helped them through the process. There was a little jealousy though… Some that Huo Lei noticed.
"Yang Xingjuan? Little sister, are you not feeling well?"
Yang Xingjuan, the eldest sister that held a similar constitution to that of my own, shook her head… Though it was obvious that she was lying.
"Is that really what you think? I've been around since before you were born, I can read you like an open book. So just let it out, you're jealous aren't you?"
"Big sister… I can't hide anything from you, can I?"
"Nope, that's why I'm the big sister." She giggled.
"Well fine, I am jealous. I wanted to marry my big brother! And then those two come along and snatch up the last two chances!"
"Pfft, you really do love your big brother. However, you should already know this by now, you don't need to marry him to be his family."
"I know, but still… I'm not the only one either."
"I know it's hard to see your brother marrying so many women. It might seem like he's shutting you out. But, if you'll let me speak for him… I can tell you that he loves you just as much as any of us. It's just a different kind of love, surely you can feel it for yourself."
Xingjuan nodded, reluctantly, realizing that she was just causing problems for everyone. "I can sense it, and I love that feeling… I just don't want it to go away like it did that day… It hurt so much."
"It hurt me too, so let's work together and make it never happen again! Sound good?"
"If that's how it is, I'm going to make sure you're the definition of beauty!"
Elsewhere, in a separate hall, I sat with the other Supreme Masters, even senior world tree arrived. It was here in this private meeting that I relayed the particulars of the situation regarding Ink…
Yang Kai, sighed. "So that's what that sensation you've been having is all about."
"Yes, as strong as I am… I can not kill Ink without him spreading out and around the world. Eventually he'd return, fixated upon revenge…" I confirmed. "Though, that being said, I can keep him contained indefinitely. So there's nothing to worry about, but if we want to actually kill him, I'll need at least one other in the world creation realm, or equivalent strength."
Mu, sipped her tea in wonder. "I wonder, how far are we?"
A pained look appeared on my face. "While I hesitate to say rude things like this to my family, even if they are in-laws, I really shouldn't hold back…" I started saying before I bothered to answer, the plan was to soften the blow. "Out of everyone here, the closest singular power is Senior World Tree, Though his strength has waned since he collected fragments of myself… And he isn't even a quarter-step… If I hadn't been in this realm already, I may have thought he was a half-step… Hence why he is the closest."
Cang, drank some wine… More like downed it all in one gulp. "Then, I'll have to leave this task to another. I'm not suited to going any further. As I can not surpass World Tree Senior."
Wu Kuang, well, Shi, sighed as well. "While I don't have the same limitations, I doubt I'll be the fastest one. So while I won't stop my pursuit, I'm probably not the right guy for the job."
Su Yan smiled. "Well son, I'm not going to force my way either. I'll take it step by step. The best candidates are probably your father, and then Senior Sister Mu."
I shook my head. "No, on your own, yes, they'd be the best choice. However, Mother Ruo Xi in her combination state with the twins, is a far better candidate. That said, I don't want anyone to halt their advances… Ink isn't the only threat out there. And I want us to be prepared for the next one when it comes along."
Yang Kai, using his worry free mode, laughed. "Well then, so long as you help us with questions we may have-"
"Father, please. After such a long period of time, I'm not going to hold back a second longer than needed. And while I must be forceful about this, Mother, I'm not going to continue holding back. My siblings are all grown up. I can not continue to relent on this issue… I guess what I'm saying is, you will have grandchildren within the year. And a minimum of 15 right away… Actually, I think Huo Lei might end up with a full littler… So probably more than 15."
"Oh Leiji, I'm not going to stop you anymore. I simply can't wait till the day. I bet they'll be adorable."
"Um, I have a question."
"Yes?"
"Well, didn't you once mention that you were too strong for them to handle bearing your offspring? Are you saying they are strong enough now?"
"Both are true. And if you're going to wonder why they didn't participate in the battle… I guess you could call it a woman's intuition."
"I see, interesting… That also means that my daughters had already caught up…"
