INT. HOTEL – BASEMENT CLUB – NIGHT – SHIMLA
Music thumps softly in the background — not too loud, just enough to feel alive. The basement club is cozy but stylish: wooden floors, warm lighting, vintage couches, and a small dancefloor under golden hanging lamps. A fireplace flickers in one corner. Snow falls quietly outside the tall windows.
The group walks in, surprised.
RECEPTION HOST (smiling, nodding):
"Welcome downstairs. Drinks are ready. You all have this place tonight."
NICK (grinning):
"Now this is what I'm talking about."
OLIVIA (looking around):
"It's like a secret bar in the mountains. I feel like we just stepped into a movie."
JUSTIN:
"As long as it's not a horror movie, I'm good."
SOPHIA (teasing):
"Even if it is… you're the first to die."
Everyone laughs.
ABHI ;(signs) something at the bar while the others explore. Warm lights, soft couches, a small DJ setup, and a private bar with snacks and drinks already waiting.
KEVIN (sipping a mocktail):
"This is classy. I feel like I should talk about art or politics."
TOM (laughing):
"Please don't. Just enjoy."
The vibe is perfect. A little party, a little chill. People dancing, laughing, lounging.
ROCKY (clapping hands):
"Okay team! First – drinks! Then – games! Then – madness!"
DANIEL:
"Exactly. You can't play truth or dare without a little courage in the glass."
JACK pulls out a special bottle like it's a family treasure.
JACK:
"This bottle? Only opens when someone says something real."
NICK:
"What's 'real'?"
JACK:
"Not like 'I like pineapple on pizza.' I mean… something from the heart."
The group laughs. There's curiosity in the air.
KRISH:
"Keep it for later. Tonight we dance. Tomorrow we get deep."
— NIGHT IN THE CLUB
Alex and Elsa setting up a "truth or dare Jenga" game on a side table. Every block has a challenge.
Tom and Olivia making wild cocktails — one tastes like cinnamon disaster, the other is surprisingly good.
Kevin and Rocky building a "king's couch" out of cushions, forcing Abhi to sit like a king with a crown made from coasters.
Justin ; DJing with his phone, playing the ultimate party mix: old Bollywood, Punjabi bangers, and a bit of EDM.
Daniel telling silly jokes just to make Abhi laugh. He finally cracks up, spitting out his drink.
ROMANTIC GLIMPSES:
Elsa pulls Krish to the dance floor. They're awkward at first, then laughing, then dancing closer than before.
Olivia leans against the bar. Tom hands her a drink, their fingers touch for a second too long. They smile, then look away like nothing happened.
Alex and Sophia sit side by side, sipping quietly. They share a small moment — a look, a laugh — something new might be starting.
INT. CLUB – VERY LATE
The music slows for a bit. People are getting cozy now — drinks in hand, some on the floor, some on couches.
JACK taps a glass with a spoon.
JACK:
"Time for Truth or Dare. No skipping. No 'pass'. If you don't answer or do the dare… you take a double shot."
ROCKY:
"I already regret sitting down."
Everyone sits in a loose circle on the soft rug. A mix of cushions, bar stools pulled in, and tired legs hanging over couches.
NICK picks up the empty bottle and spins it.
It lands on DANIEL.
JACK:
"Truth or dare?"
DANIEL (smirking):
"Truth."
JACK:
"Okay. Have you ever liked someone here… like here here?"
Everyone leans in.
DANIEL:
(pause, playful)
ALL (shouting):
"DOUBLE SHOT!"
DANIEL:
"Fine, fine!" (takes the shot)
"Let me just say… feelings are complicated."
NICK:
"Dude you just made it more suspicious."
Laughter.
Now Daniel spins the bottle. It lands on OLIVIA.
DANIEL:
"Truth or dare?"
OLIVIA:
"Dare. Hit me."
DANIEL:
"I dare you to slow dance with the person sitting closest to you."
That happens to be TOM.
TOM (raising eyebrows):
"Well then."
They both stand. Everyone claps and hums a slow dramatic tune. Olivia and Tom dance, laughing, clearly enjoying it. There's a spark. Maybe more than a spark.
SOPHIA:
"Okay that was too cute. Someone spin before I get emotional."
Now Olivia spins. It lands on NICK.
OLIVIA:
"Truth or dare?"
NICK (grinning):
"Truth. Let's go."
OLIVIA:
"What's something you've never told Abhi?"
NICK:
"Oof." (looks at Abhi)
ABHI (from the King's Chair):
"Careful."
NICK:
"…Okay, one time in college, I lost your watch and blamed the cleaning guy. I lied, bro. I found it two weeks later in my jeans."
ABHI:
"…You monster."
NICK (laughing):
"I said something real. Jack's bottle rules."
They laugh, and Abhi throws a cushion at him.
MORE QUICK TRUTHS & DARES
Elsa dares Krish to sing a love song while looking directly at her. He does it. Everyone melts.
Sophia gets dared to prank call hotel reception and ask if ghosts can check out late.
Kevin reveals he once cried watching DDLJ and tells no one to judge him.
Justin is dared to dance solo to a remix of Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai — he goes all in.
Daniel finally dares Nick to share his biggest fear. Nick gets serious for a second and says,
"Losing my people. That's it. I joke a lot… but that's the truth."
A short silence. Then someone claps. Then everyone claps.
BACK TO ABHI
He watches all of them — loud, silly, warm.
ABHI (softly):
"Mad friends. Mad night."
He takes a sip of his drink, looking like a man who knows he's going to remember this forever.
The bottle spins again.
It slows…
Slows…
And stops on ABHI.
Everyone turns to him like kids spotting a celebrity.
ROCKY:
"Ohhh. The king speaks now."
KEVIN:
"You can't escape. Truth or dare, Your Majesty?"
ABHI (sighing with a smile):
"Truth. Let's keep it simple."
NICK:
"Alright then. How did you fall in love with Ishana? Was it even love, or just… arranged?"
Everyone goes a little quiet now. Not tense, just waiting — they've all been curious. They know Abhi hasn't talked much about it.
ABHI (leans back, staring at his glass):
"It was arranged… at first. We know each other from before . She live in the house ,which is in the front of my hospital. I was supposed to just meet her — you know, classic pressure from Mom and Dad."
DANIEL:
"But?"
ABHI (smiles faintly):
"But she wasn't like the others. She wasn't trying to impress anyone. She was… sharp. Direct. Asked me if I actually wanted to get married or if I was just being a good son."
SOPHIA:
"Straight to the point. I like her already."
ABHI:
"We talked for hours that night. I don't know… I thought, maybe this is something."
JUSTIN:
"And she felt the same?"
ABHI (pause):
"I thought so. For a while, yeah. we met again… but slowly, I saw it. She was slipping away. Like… she wasn't sure."
NICK (softer):
"And now?"
ABHI:
"She's still not sure. She told me , she doesn't believe in marriage. But she's doing it anyway. For her parents."
Silence.
ABHI (quietly, real):
"I don't want to marry someone who's just doing it for the sake of it. But I also… don't want to let go. I love her. I really do."
The group sits with that.
KRISH:
"Damn, bro. That's… heavy."
ELSA:
"You ever think of calling it off?"
ABHI:
"Every day. But if I do… everyone loses. Families fight. She gets blamed. I get blamed. Maybe this is what adult love looks like. It's not always a movie."
DANIEL:
"Maybe not. But you deserve a love that's not half-written."
ABHI (nods, distant):
"I just hope… somewhere deep down, she wants it too. Not because of pressure. But because of me."
NICK gets up and hugs him, rough and brotherly.
NICK:
"Whether it works out or not… you're not alone in it, okay? We've got your back. Always."
Others join — a strange, group-hug-slash-pile-on that turns serious into hilarious as they all nearly fall over.
– AFTER THE GAME
Abhi sits near the fireplace with his drink. Everyone else is either asleep or slow-dancing in the background. He stares into the flames.
We hear the last part of his earlier words as a soft voiceover:
ABHI (V.O.):
"I love her. And I'm scared she doesn't love me back. But I'm still showing up. Maybe that's what love is too."
Outside, snow falls heavier now.
Inside, the fire burns low.
And Abhi stays seated — not smiling, not sad. Just waiting.
phone in the other hand. His thumb hovers over Ishana's name in his contacts.
He hesitates… then taps "Call."
RINGING.
He stares at the screen, waiting. Hoping.
Still ringing.
He puts the phone to his ear. The silence feels louder than the music ever did.
No answer.
He lowers the phone. His face is unreadable — not angry, not shocked, just… numb.
He places the phone face down on the table and exhales.
GOA BEACH CLUB – NIGHT – SAME TIME
The vibe is completely different. Warm sea breeze. Palm trees swaying. Loud music. Neon lights. Waves crashing in the distance.
ISHANA is dancing with her friends on a raised deck near the beach. Everyone's barefoot, holding glowing drinks. The night is wild and alive.
Her phone buzzes in her sling bag.
She doesn't hear it.
POOJA (yelling over the music):
"Shot time! Come on, bride-to-be!"
SONALI (dancing):
"Ishanaaa! No sad face tonight. We're in Goa, not your wedding diary!"
TIA (playfully):
"We'll throw your phone in the sea if you check it again!"
They all laugh.
Ishana fakes a smile, raises her glass, and joins in the toast.
ALL GIRLS (shouting):
"To Ishana's last night of freedom!"
Laughter. Cheering. Someone pours a rainbow shot. They drink.
LUCA spins her around on the dance floor while MAYA, ALICE, and RASHMI cheer her on.
But Ishana's smile fades just a little when she glances toward her bag again — like something is pulling at her.
INT. CLUB – SHIMLA – SAME TIME
Abhi leans back in the chair, staring at the ceiling.
He picks up the phone again.
Still no notification. No call back.
He locks the screen.
ABHI (quietly):
"Hope you're okay…"
He sets the phone down, finishes his drink, and walks over to the couch where his friends are sleeping — finding a quiet place to lie down.
The fire crackles quietly.
The snow doesn't stop.
