With nothing left to do for the night, and the mood for simply sitting and admiring the starry night sky having passed thanks to the recent interjections, Di Tou let out a sigh and after lingering for a moment longer got up and began walking again.
Late at night in the Academy, not many things were open. Now that it was the wee hours of the morning, far less was open! Even the late-night stalls had mostly closed, as there was simply no business to be found. All that was open were the bathhouses, which at this point were mostly welcoming guests out, not in.
After walking for a while, Di Tou found that the bath house he had visited the last few times he had been in the Academy was closed. But thinking about it for a moment, that made sense. That was a legitimate bathhouse that simply made money from providing hot water and amenities. There were no… under the table arrangements that might take an entire night, so naturally they wouldn't be open at this forsaken hour.
