"I found him," he said, tone casual, conversational. "And his team. Sneaking around in my throne room. No manners at all."
He shifted, now seated casually on the blackened railing at the top of the Crypt's gates, legs dangling like he was watching a school play.
"But not just them," he continued. "There's another squad, isn't there? Going through the maze paths deep below."
His gaze swept over them.
"My girls are taking care of them."
There was a beat.
"Listen."
