The gathering of Abyssal inhabitants, the black treants, stood before Lord Karims.
At least over eight hundred Abyssal inhabitants were meditating in their own ways, as long as their physical bodies had not fully transformed by the Abyss, they all had the qualification to condense their faces.
The reason everyone chose to do this under the great tree, besides the overall atmosphere,
was that they were trying to gain recognition from Lord Karims through their devotion. If they were lucky, they might hear the tree's call and receive teachings on face condensation.
The most important point, however,
was that the "Pilgrim's Road" was hidden right at the base of the great tree; in other words, this was the place closest to the Abyss, naturally making the face condensation effect much better.
William felt the same way after arriving here; the Abyssal material within his body had become much more active.
However, in William's opinion, it was still too slow.
