Then, Ling Momo stood bewildered on the street, looking around for Enson.
But no matter how she searched, she still couldn't find Enson. Finally, Ling Momo couldn't help but open her mouth and shout his name loudly. But when she had screamed her throat hoarse, Enson never appeared, and Momo, exhausted, squatted down.
She buried her face between her legs, sobbing uncontrollably, crying as if to pour out all the sadness and grief in her heart.
That's how Momo woke up, crying, and even when she woke up, she was still choking up, her pillow soaked through.
She checked the time, it was 3 a.m., yet she felt no trace of sleepiness.
She casually threw on a garment and walked to the window. The night was eerily quiet, the street was silent, no people walked by, no vehicles passed, only the streetlights stood lonelily bright.
Even so, one could still see the thriving prosperity of City X, but her heart felt even more sour and lonely.
