"Half-demon?!"
"Damn, he's actually the son of a half-demon."
"Damn, what are you looking at? He's a half-demon, not the son of one."
"Oh, I see."
The captain and the other three team members whispered among themselves.
They waited for a few minutes, and Lin Jingchen slowly came around. No one spoke, and Yun Qi squatted in front of him, quietly keeping him company.
The woman's figure was no longer there.
The usually carefree and unruly woman feared separation, left in a hurry without saying goodbye face to face.
A few minutes later, Lin Jingchen stood up, his eyes red as he gave Yun Qi a faint smile, "I'm okay now, thank you."
Yun Qi twisted her fingers nervously; she realized she wasn't good at everything, especially not comforting people.
Thinking it over, Little Dumpling resorted to what children do best. She fished around in her pocket and pulled out a lollipop, handing it to Lin Jingchen.
"If you're feeling sad, have a candy. It'll sweeten your heart."
