"How is Naruto?" Ay asked the moment he stepped inside the house, passing the threshold. It had taken three hours of talking with the Sannin for them to come to an agreement. Ay had almost started a fight with the man on several occasions, but thankfully, somehow, he was able to stop himself from losing it completely.
"As well as you can guess," A said, snarling, closing the door once his father walked inside. Bee had returned two hours ago after finding Naruto at the top of one of the Twin Mountains. He explained everything that happened and how Naruto refused to sleep in their house—for now, at least.
A couldn't really blame him. Naruto was always a little emotional when it came to family and good friends, and now, learning the truth the way he did and the words Ay had said to him, A's hands were itching to punch his own father. He had never laid his hands on him, never, but right now, he really felt like punching the man for not letting a few things a secret, especially about Naruto's mother.
"Bee, tell me everything that happened?" Ay demanded as he passed the hall and walked into the common room. A and Bee followed behind, and Bee explained everything that happened.
Ay felt his heart shatter when Bee explained what Naruto had done to the names they had carved into the tree. He will never forgive me, Ay thought; his head slumped down for a moment before quickly looking back up.
"Who is staying with Naruto?" Ay asked, turning to face his son and adoptive son. The entire house was silent. It felt colder, as if someone had opened all the windows, and much lonelier. Ay knew someone needed to be there for him, and if Bee and A were already here, then who was staying with him?
"Yoruichi is with him. Omoi, Yugito, Karui, and Samui were going there. They were training in one of the many training fields, and I told them that Naruto had arrived back from his training. They all were ecstatic, but then I told them that he needed their presence and that it would be good if they all were there to support him." Bee answered; from his tone, it was clear he wanted to be there, but he had a few things to discuss with his grandfather first.
"Good, as long as he's not alone." Ay murmured under his breath, ready to go to his chamber to sleep for a few good hours. He was certain at this point he wouldn't be able to sleep even for a moment, but he needed to try. The job of the Kage didn't really care if the Kage needed rest or not.
"Father, why did you tell all that to Naruto?" A's voice stopped Ay from leaving the common room. The man didn't turn to face his son but took a deep breath to calm himself. A's feet caused the floor to creak.
"I told you, A, more than once that Naruto needed to learn the truth; you just didn't want to see it; you wanted to keep playing the fool; well, Naruto is not stupid. He was already suspicious of his own appearance, and why he looked nothing like us, and I knew sooner or later he would learn the truth himself, so I decided to do the right thing for once and be honest with the kid and tell him everything, but I...made a mistake too. I didn't account for Jiraiya finding him and telling him the truth himself before I could, so I was also a fool." Ay told him with a heavy voice, ready to walk into his chamber to rest; when he felt A's hand on his shoulder, stopping him, he could already feel A's glare on his back.
"Put your hand away, boy. I will tell you only once." Ay's threat made A gulp. His body shivered, but the anger he felt, instead, his hand gripped his father's shoulder even more, his teeth grinding.
"Naruto is my son. I would have told him, but instead of buying more time, you told him everything, even what you tried to do to Kushina-" Ay grabbed A's wrist before he could blink and whirled around to face his son with the coldest glare he could muster, bolts of lightning dancing around his body, suddenly the entire house was freezing, as father and son glared at one another.
"Do not play the innocent with me boy. I'm your father and your Raikage, show respect, or I will lock you in the Mirror Cells and throw away the key, now stand down." Ay stumped the floor, causing the house to shake, bits of dust falling from the ceiling, the carpet under Ay's feet started turning red from the heat, trails of smoke reaching for the ceiling as flames flickered around his boot.
A didn't want to stand down. He knew his father was stronger than him, but that was during his prime. Now, A knew he had far more stamina than the old man. Even if he was still weaker, he could force him to get exhausted.
A could feel nothing but rage, his blood boiling to the point that he felt as if fire ran through his veins. He wanted his father to feel his wrath, his grief. Naruto would never look at him as his father anymore; that was all gone. With that in mind, bolts of lightning danced around both A and Ay's bodies, coating them. Their hair stood up like spikes, and their glares intensified.
"ENOUGH!!" Suddenly, both were yanked away from one another as large octopus tails wrapped around their waists.
"BEE, LET GO OF ME!"
"LET ME AT HIM. I WILL—" "Will you two just think about Naruto for a Moment?!" Bee shouted with rage. His sunglasses had slid down his nose, revealing his mismatched dark and silver eyes, glaring at them both furiously. This took both A and Ay by surprise, the tails keeping them above ground.
"Since you two came here, all you care about is yourself. Instead, none of you are asking about Naruto. What do you think he is feeling right now? Huh, Answer me?" Bee shouted with a demanding tone as his sunglasses fell off his face. Both A and Ay looked down in shame, the lightning bolts slowly fading away, but the tails grip was still as strong; Bee knew he couldn't fight even A, but at this point, he didn't care.
"Just how do you think my little nephew is feeling right now, to learn the truth that way? You didn't see it the way I did. I was up there for him, you two were busy getting angry with one another, and not at all about Naruto. How do you think he will feel when he learns that you two are at each other's throats. He's heartbroken, and needs support, and what you two are doing is bickering like children. I have my own fault, I should have followed my own plan." "What?" A gasped; for a moment, he struggled against the tail, but the moment he tried to free himself, the tail's grip around him only tightened even more.
"After he became a Genin. I wanted to tell him the truth, tell him who he was, I knew you were delaying the inevitable A, so I decided to tell him, and delay it no more, but I- I couldn't. Just like you, I feared that if I told him the truth, he would no longer want to be with us, and I failed him; if I had just told him everything back then, perhaps all of this could have been avoided, but it just doesn't matter anymore. It's pointless to cry over spilled milk. Now, remember who is the one who needs help, and stop being so selfish." Bee shouted, and the two refused to look at one another.
Their ego made them not want to talk to one another, especially for someone like A and Ay, who were proud people.
"A will have to apologise first, you raised your hand, and I expect an apology." Ay demanded from his son as the octopus tails unwrapped and sank back inside Bee's seal on his back.
"I have nothing to apologize for. You ruined everything with your big mouth. You could have simply told him that Kumo never targeted Kushina, but instead, you made it clear to him that his own grandfather has no problem kidnapping little-" "Watch your tone, boy. I won't have you insulting me under my roof." Ay interrupted him; a bolt of thunder echoed outside, but just as Bee was ready to intervene once again. A turned around and walked outside, with Ay walking inside his chamber.
Naruto
The blonde stared blankly at the stars above, his back against the hotel's roof. He could feel the wind blowing by and his hair falling in front of his face, but he cared not to move them away. His eyes still burned, but now they were finally dry.
His friends had come to try and cheer him up, but he wasn't in the mood, he put on a fake smile every now and then during their conversation, but he was sure they all could see he was acting for their sake.
"Naruto, what are you doing here?" The blonde didn't look at her as she approached. Instead, he kept staring at the stars. He remembered the time the Raikage had shown him the stars from the roof of their house when he was still a toddler. He remembered the way he used to reach out to them as if expecting he could grab one of them in his hands.
"You know my mother used to tell me that stars show us all the future." Naruto didn't know that Yugito wasn't one to talk about her past; despite being friends for so many years, she avoided bringing up her past, and instead, she would usually change the subject.
"Really?" Naruto asked, sounding intrigued as he turned his head slightly. His arms were behind his head, his head resting on them like a pillow. He watched as Yugito sat down next to him, their legs hanging limply over the roof, slightly obscuring the large illuminated 'N' of the hotel they were staying in.
"Yes, my mother was a... believer of the Faith of the Three Stars. She used to tell me the red stars show us the future. She said that she had the gift 'Star Reader' and that she could look at the stars and read them." Yugito explained with a sneer as she looked at a particular red star in the sky.
"Really! I thought only Omoi believed in the Faith!" Naruto said, sounding surprised; he wasn't much of a believer of the Faith; he just never really cared much about it, and everyone knew the Faith and the Shinobi System, in general, weren't exactly good friends with one another, for that reason, the Faith was forbidden from being taught in the Academy, and he never really cared about it.
"I don't believe in the faith." Yugito cut him short with a sip of bitterness in her voice. Naruto closed his mouth. He wanted to ask but didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. Thankfully, she inched closer to him and continued with her little story.
"My mother was the holder of Matatabi before me, and since she gave birth to me when she was the Jinchuuriki, I was born a little different, she used to tell me that since I could crawl, I was like a cat, it didn't take long for the Raikage to find out that some of Matatabi's chakra was inside me, and that gave me some of her strength and abilities. I-" She struggled with her words; a lump formed in her throat as she tried to speak, but no words were coming out.
"Yugito, you don't have to tell me anything," Naruto quickly told her with tenderness as he sat up, facing her, moving a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear. She looked away from him for a moment before taking a deep breath; the fresh and cold air of the mountain filled her lungs, calming her head.
"My mother said the stars had spoken to her, saying that I should be the next holder of Matatabi, saying the gods had already decided for me...I might be friends with Matatabi now, and I appreciate her company, but I never wanted to become a Jinchuuriki. I knew how they were treated by the people, and I knew people would never look at me the same way, but she didn't care, she murdered herself, and gave Matatabi to me. I became a Jinchuuriki, and my mother was a corpse." Her lips twitched into an ugly smile as she gripped her arms tightly, her fingernails almost tearing into her cloth, until Naruto grabbed her hand, stopping them.
Yugito cured herself for talking about her own problems at Naruto; she was supposed to be here to make him feel better and not tell him about her own problems and how much she hated Faith in general.
The Faith was nothing but what the cowards and the weak believed to feel better and safer. If the gods are real, and they are Just. Why is this world so full of Injustice?
Naruto gripped her hand, his thumb caressing it; slowly, she leaned against him, her head resting on his shoulder. "You are the only one who knows about what happened to my mother, so don't tell anyone," she told him strictly.
"Why did you tell me?" Naruto caressed her long, beautiful blonde hair as he asked; her hair felt like soft fibers of silver in his hands, and the smell reminded him of flowers.
"Because I-I guess I wanted to tell someone, and I believe you, Naruto, more than anyone else. I know, in a way, what you are going through, and I want to help you. I know you came here to be alone, but I know how it feels. I don't want you to feel the cold that I felt." Naruto remained silent and gave her a side hug, his lips kissing the crown of her head.
"Thank you, Yugito." Naruto spoke sincerely as they both watched the stars above them.
Tomorrow
"So I understand you heal fast. That's good because we're going to work you into the dirt over and over again for the next month. As your new sensei, I'll be providing you with nourishing food to replenish your strength and we'll be having sleepover camping by this lovely river here to maximize training time."
Naruto was ready to face everything. At a time like this, he wanted to get distracted, and training was the best way to do that.
Thankfully, after waking up in his hotel room, Jiraiya was waiting for him, sitting on the balcony railings.
At first, the Sannin asked if Naruto wanted to talk about Konoha or his parents, but Naruto didn't feel ready to open that hole again, so he wanted to train with him if that was okay with him. Jiraiya seemed a little disappointed that Naruto didn't want to talk about his parents, but he agreed nonetheless. After eating breakfast, both Naruto and Jiraiya found themselves at the edge of Kumo, far away from the center of the Village.
"If you're afraid of work, then you should quit. This isn't going to be easy."
Naruto glared, obviously accepting the challenge.
Hours Later
Panting, he felt tired. His legs shook like a leaf, sweat rolling down his face and falling to the ground. His hands slapped his knees. The sun wasn't making it any easier to train. The heat was all around the air; it felt like he was scorching.
Taking a deep breath, filling his lungs with fresh air. He felt relaxed and continued his morning run; he had reached his one hundred run around the mountain tops.
As he kept running and running and running, and still running. Kyuubi inside was watching with amusement but not helping in any way. Kyuubi was still annoyed by the way the brat spoke to him the other day, but a part of him understood the kid was hurt. Kyuubi was a little surprised when the Raikage confessed truthfully; he knew humans were selfish creatures, and most of them were greedy; the only exceptions he had seen were his father and Naruto, to a degree.
After running for one more hour, Naruto finished his last run around the mountain and fell on his knees, panting; sweat was everywhere around his body, and his clothes had turned transparent and had soaked up.
"Did you already give up, is that all the mighty Naruto can do?" Jiraiya's voice made him look up immediately; suddenly, the exhaustion he felt disappeared like a puff of smoke in the air.
He was ready to start running again, but the Sannin stopped him in his tracks.
"Not so fast, Naruto." Jiraiya smiled and reached into his pocket, pulling out a scroll. He tossed it at Naruto, who grabbed it mid-air. Confusion filled his face, but he opened the scroll to see what it was all about.
Opening the scroll, he read the name of the jutsu. "B-Rank: Shadow Clone Jutsu," he read, his eyes widening more with disbelief.
"This is a Jutsu from Konoha. Why are you teaching me this?" he asked with a hint of suspicion. If this was Jiraiya's way of bribing him and slowly convincing him to change the Village, then he was wrong.
"Hold your horses, little men. I have no other reasons besides you getting stronger," Jiraiya said with a wide grin, but Naruto wasn't buying it. The man might be his godfather, but he knew to be cautious, and he wouldn't spit on the opportunity to learn 'Shadow Clone Jutsu.'
"So, how do I learn it?" Naruto asked, spreading the scroll on his hands and reading the text inside.
"No. You will learn it without my help, let's see how fast you can learn it," Jiraiya stated, looking down at Naruto, who looked surprised for a second but immediately nodded his head and ran away somewhere to learn the jutsu alone without any interruption.
After One hour
"Where's Naruto?" Jiraiya turned his head to see Yoruichi and... Killer Bee... that was his name, a weird one, but still someone Jiraiya knew not to underestimate.
"In the forest, trying to learn Shadow Clone Jutsu." Jiraiya answered dismissively as he poured a cup of tea for the new guests.
"Why are you teaching him a Jutsu of Konoha?" Yoruichi questioned warily as the old man extended the cup of tea towards her. She refused it with a dismising wave of her hand. Bee, on the other hand, accepted the tea without complaint.
"Whether you two like it or not, Konoha is part of him, and he needs to get stronger. Shadow Clones are a good way to learn faster, and I doubt anyone from Kumo can teach him Shadow Clones," Jiraiya said in a matter-of-fact tone as he drank tea.
Yoruichi grimaced, but she knew he was right. Naruto needed to get stronger to survive, and learning Shadow Clones was a good way to start. With that Jutsu in his hands, he could learn more about Purple Lightning much faster.
"Is Naruto friend with Kyuubi?" Jiraiya abruptly questioned.
"Why you want to know that?" Bee asked, his brow furrowed.
"Now, now. I just want to know if I should watch out for Naruto suddenly going berserk on me. If I'm going to be his teacher, I need to know these things." Jiraiya said, raising his hands in surrender, appearing as if he was someone weak, but Yoruichi knew he was anything but weak, and his acting annoyed her. She knew he wasn't teaching Naruto the shadow clone jutsu out of the goodness of his heart; he wanted to convince Naruto that he should return to Konoha but in a more subtle way. Yoruichi was certain that Jiraiya was trying to find every way possible to make that happen.
"Well, no. I don't think they have much of a friendship, Naruto never spoke of being good friends with the Kyuubi." Bee answered, knowing the Sannin was making a good point. Before Yoruichi could ask a question, a voice interrupted them from the nearby forest.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!!" Suddenly, a small army of Narutos ran out of the forest like ants.
Jiraiya saw around thirty Narutos jumping around with their fists in the air. Who he assumed was the real Naruto, walked in front with a beaming smile.
"I DID IT DATABAYO," Naruto shouted together. Jiraiya smiled proudly, as did Bee and Yoruichi, who looked impressed that he could do it so fast.
"Uncle. I did it, now I can beat your ass." Naruto shouted with a wide grin, but Killer Bee could tell it wasn't sincere. He understood his nephew was using all this training as a distraction.
"Naruto, how are you feeling?" Yoruichi stepped forward, looking at her student with concern. She knew he was hurt after what happened, and she knew all his anger being bottled down like a bomb would eventually just burst. She had experienced the same with her last student and wouldn't allow Naruto to go down the same path. The blonde's eyes turned slightly red for a second before returning to normal. The smile returned on his face again, but it was clearly as fake as his happiness.
"I have never been better, Yoruichi-Sensei." Yoruichi frowned deeply. She placed her hand on his shoulder, but he quickly shrugged it off as he stepped away from her.
"I'm fine. I like that you're concerned for me, but right now, I want to train." Naruto said in a tone that made it clear he wanted to do nothing else besides training right now. Yoruichi sighed in defeat.
"I will watch you, and later we can go to eat ramen," Yoruichi said with a bittersweet smile. Giving him a big hug, Naruto hugged her back before pulling away. He expected that was it, but he had underestimated her as she lifted up his chin and kissed his lips. Naruto moaned into the kiss, being caught off guard. He heard the Sannin letting out a whistle while his uncle started singing a song for him.
Naruto kissed her back; the sweetness made him forget about everything, about the anger and the feeling of loss he felt, but much to his disappointment, she pulled away, winking at him with a teasing smile, before turning on her heels and walking away, but not before swaying her beautiful bubble ass, knowing he was looking at it.
Naruto quickly regained his composure as Jiraiya walked up to him. He could hear his uncle asking Yoruichi something he couldn't quite hear.
"Now that you have done it, let's start with a spar," he suggested while cracking his knuckles.
Naruto cracked his knuckles and moved his legs around. Jiraiya noticed he didn't remove his weight but decided to bring Naruto to his limit. Secretly, he hoped to force Naruto to use Kyuubi's chakra; he knew Uzumaki blood would make it easier to control it.
"Kid fight me with the intention to kill."
Eyes That See Everything
"So what now? Did Hidan get in trouble again?" Kisame's teasing voice was heard throughout the cave, reaching the high ceiling and drowning out the sound of droplets of water dripping down from the ceiling.
"Shut up, Fishface, or I will skin you like one," Hidan screamed, pointing his scythe toward Kisame despite being made of holograms.
Kisame scoffed at the poor threat. "Try that with a group of Gennins, you might have more success, and since you are immortal. I have always wondered what would happen if I skinned you alive, and left you like that." Kisame's grin widened at the thought while Hidan put back his scythe, safely secured behind his back.
"Don't threaten me with a good time Kisame. Pain is the sweetest thing there is. Bless you Jashin." Hidan shouted with a wide grin of pure joy, looking up at the heavens, showing all his teeth, before slicing his hand, the blood dripping down his palm.
Hidan opened his mouth and licked the blood off his hand, gulping it down with a moan of pleasure.
Itachi wrinkled his nose in disgust; even someone as emotionless as Kakuzu seemed a little disgusted, and that was saying something since Kakuzu was Hidan's partner, and this definitely wasn't the first time the immortal man had done something like this.
Itachi still remembered Orochimaru's face when Hidan suggested that he join Jashin if he desired immortality. According to Hidan, he was over six hundred years old and had served Jashin since he was twenty-seven.
'Serve Jashin. I'm afraid I have to turn down this generous offer. Unlike you, I don't sell my mortal soul because of a moment of weakness, and I will find immortality my own way. I don't need the help of this so-called Jashin, ' Orochimaru said with a sneer, showing fear for the first time.
"Enough, Hidan. This is not a place where you can preach your beliefs." ordered the leader with an authoritative voice; even though he didn't raise his voice, everyone felt a shiver in their bodies as his Rinnegan eyes looked at each one of his subordinates.
"I started this meeting to announce that we need to find the location of Kyuubi, Nibi, Chōmei. For as long as we don't know who they are, we can't start capturing them, but I have a plan. Itachi, and Kisame. You two are to travel to Wave Country."
"Is this a vacation, Leader?" Kisame asked with a shark-like grin. He enjoyed places near water, and the Wave Country was built near the Black Sea.
"Why to Wave Country? I was under the assumption that Konoha held the Kyuubi?" Itachi asked carefully, his Sharingan eyes flaring up as the leader fixed him with a glare.
"That's not important to either of you. Kyuubi will be there." The meeting ended, and Itachi opened his eyes, using a rock as a chair.
"So, how did it go?" Itachi looked up at her as she looked down at him expectantly.
"It went well enough, Lady Tsunade."
Yassei
A figure ran across the streets, followed by six figures. She leaped into the air, landing on a branch, quickly jumping away, landing in the center of a cobbled field covered with pink leaves everywhere. Beautiful trees surrounded the field, but the woman was quickly surrounded by six figures holding swords in their hands.
"Stand down, in the name of the King." The Captain ordered grumpily, but the woman smiled sweetly at the group of men surrounding her.
"Now, now, there's no need. I'm sure King Takeda will not be harsh towards an innocent girl like me." She spoke with a teasing smile, touching the necklace around her neck, the red crystal just above her ample breasts.
She is a slender, very attractive woman of average height. She has long and wavy strawberry blonde hair, pale-blue eyes, fair skin, full lips, and a beauty mark under her mouth's right side. She dresses in the typical garbs, though she lets her robes hang loose so that her ample bosom can be revealed. She wears a thin red necklace tucked between her cleavage and a long pink scarf over her shoulders. A short sword is strapped to her back.
"You're surrounded, thief." One of the soldiers shouted, but they still made no movement to capture her as she hummed pleasantly with a finger on her chin.
"Are you sure? I might let you get a small peek if you let me leave." She teased with a sultry voice, her hand slightly moving down the piece of clothing covering her ample breasts. The soldiers turned red from embarrassment, slowly lowering their guard.
The Captain grunted, his teeth grinding; without a second thought, he rushed towards the woman, but her body vanished.
"Where did she go?!" The soldiers shouted as they looked around. Rangiku watched from afar with a wide grin.
"See you later, boys!" she shouted triumphantly, waving at them before vanishing once again like steam.
Later
"Anyone home?!" she called out as she stepped inside the house into the hallway. One of the doors opened, and an old woman stepped outside from the door that led to the common room.
"Rangiku, did you find it?" the old woman asked sharply. Rangiku huffed as she showed her the red crystal that had drowned in the valley of her breasts.
"Got it, why do you even need it?" She questioned with a move of her head, her hair waving across her beautiful face as she removed her sandals and walked deeper into the hallway.
"Finally!! Come here my beauty!!!" The old woman cheered before snatching the necklace from her neck, almost choking Rangiku, who glared at the old woman once she started inspecting the necklace.
"Good Job, Rangiku.' 'Are you tired, Rangiku?' 'Do you need anything, Rangiku?, but no, who cares about me." Rangiku murmured with a deadpan look, sounding irritated with the old stupid woman.
"Why do you even need it?"
"We can finally visit The Elemental Nations." The old woman cheered, taking the blonde woman by surprise.
"Wait, What?!!"
