Arad looked up and saw a young girl looking back at him from the upper window. She had short, curly blond hair, honey-colored eyes, soft ivory skin, and two blindingly pale wings flapping behind her back. Her eyes flashed with golden light as she cried, "SISTER! WE'VE GOT SOMEONE NICE OUTSIDE!" She jumped out of the window and didn't even bother using her wings to slow her fall, and instead crashed on the ground, cracking the sidewalk.
Just behind her, a girl with short purple hair and sparkling green eyes looked down with a sleepy face, "Ah, too big. I'll be out in a while." She yawned and went back inside.
The blond one swung her arm at the window and yelled again, "Stella! Don't dare go back to sleep!" She then sighed and tried to straighten her hair, which curled right back up.
"So, what's your name, handsome? No one ever dares knock on our door." She looked around, "Father would kill you."
