Time passed bit by bit, and as the sunlight sifted through the holes atop the greenhouse once again, a new day began on Hope Island.
The islanders started their busy day, oblivious to what had happened the night before.
On the shaded balcony of the Governor's Mansion, Charles and Elizabeth, clad only in white robes, looked down from their elevated position.
Elizabeth yawned lazily and sipped her coffee from a white porcelain cup. "Charles, has it already been one night? Time flies."
"Did you come here today for anything in particular?" Charles asked, turning his head to look at the mature beauty with a lazy smile hanging at the corner of her mouth.
"I missed you." Elizabeth rested her head gently on Charles's shoulder.
Charles smiled softly, reaching out with his right hand to gently stroke Elizabeth's slightly curled, shiny white hair.
"Icha Island is far from here, did you come all this way just because of that?"
