It seemed that to dissolve the fear of death, Viters from the past kept chatting on and on with his bandages wrapped around him, his flamboyant personality emerging once again.
Although the bandages did not respond much, it did not diminish his interest in talking at all.
As he chatted, Viters started talking about the beautiful days of his childhood on Shadow Island.
"On that island, my family lived in a big house in the Island Heart District. We never worried about food or clothing, which were the best times of my life, except for when my father had to go to sea for a long time with each new shipment."
"No one knew where my father got his goods from, but his sapphires were the best quality on the entire Shadow Island. I think he must have sourced them from some other seas, otherwise the quality couldn't possibly be that good."
