"Hello, little Immortal," a sinister voice whispered in Heaven Wind's mind, freezing him on the spot, his eyes wide open, so much so one could imagine his eyeballs protruding from their sockets.
"Ahhhh!!" Heaven Wind felt flustered and immediately screamed loudly, attracting the attention of the other immortals who looked at him in confusion.
"Brother Feng!" Heaven Fire looked at Heaven Wind with cautious suspicion.
Without waiting, he assailed Heaven Wind with his celestial sense but still found nothing. Heaven Wind himself couldn't explain the feeling he'd experienced earlier—it had been so real, yet now it was gone.
"I… I'm sorry, brothers. I totally lost my mind just now," Heaven Wind bitterly apologized after realizing he'd given a false alarm.
However, he still maintained a wary posture, cautiously tilting his head in every direction from east to west and north to south. His current demeanor hardly befitted a proud Immortal like him, but the dire situation warranted it.
