The true purpose of this object is to be placed inside the Mage Tower, where it would use the tower's immense power supply to provide continent-spanning communication.
Currently... this Communication Crystal has been used no more than twenty times, most of which were when Kael was in the Royal Capital, making temporary arrangements for the people guarding the territory, or when Kael was in Lancaster Territory, preparing for the maids in the capital to assist with related work in advance.
Well, over the past six months, there's also been the matter of communicating with the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce.
That's about it for official communications.
On a personal note... for now, it's just Mr. Luxius and Senior Sister Lily.
As for Elanna, Kael has also given her a Communication Crystal, and considering that Elanna is not a Mage, he even equipped the crystal with a set of Demon Crystals that can sustain half an hour of communication...
