Mo Fei stared at the boundless starry sky around him and the massive rock platform hovering in this void beneath his feet. For a moment, he was utterly baffled.
He had imagined ascending to Dragon God would be accompanied by some extraordinary sound and light effects—golden light filling the skies, Dragon Thunder crackling everywhere, or perhaps a holy hymn and dragon roars...
Then immense power would surge into his body, followed by a World announcement proclaiming the birth of a new god rushing into existence...
But nothing of the sort happened. The instant he touched the Dragon God's throne, his vision blurred, and in the next second, he found himself here.
Is this... not real? He murmured to himself with a sense of uncertainty.
No cold, no heat, not even the faintest sensation.
It felt more like a dream.
