As they rushed through the Space-Time Gate into the great cosmos, the legendary figures let out rousing battle cries, a fervor rising within them unbidden. All they could think of was killing every enemy they saw, before launching suicide attacks on those massive warships in the distance.
Powerful legendary spells were meaningless on the scale of star regions stretching tens or even hundreds of thousands of kilometers. Often, the battles ended before their attacks could even reach the enemy.
Even though their battle cries couldn't spread in the void of space, and even though such charges were no different from throwing one's life away, the sacrifices of these legends were not without meaning. Their existence provided replenishment for the Divine Power of the descending gods, and their deaths hastened the erosion of the domain in this area.
